ZELMA ANN COTTRELL

Mrs. Zelma Ann Scallion Cottrell was one of 14th of 15 children born to Noah and Mary Eliza Scallion.  Our loving mother passed away at home peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at the age of 83 after living a full and long life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Zachary Hunt, and siblings.  She left behind her children Laner Hunt Smith, Larry Hunt, Nancy Washington, Mary Washington Chance, and Laura Washington Queen.  She loved being a grandparent and treasured her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was blessed to see her first great-great-grandchild for our family.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends
