Xzavian Thomas

Xzavian La’Ron “Slim” Thomas was born on January 1, 1986, in San Antonio, Texas, to Ta’Shun Evyette Greenwood and Donald Donnell McGarity. From the beginning, Xzavian possessed a spirit and personality that were uniquely his own. He grew to become a hardworking, fun-loving, caring, and devoted man whose presence brought energy and laughter to those around him.

He enjoyed golfing, cooking, gaming, rapping, and spending time connecting with nature and the universe. Xzavian was often the life of the party, and when he felt comfortable with you, he could talk your ear off. His humor, personality, and ability to make a moment memorable are just a few of the things his family and friends will miss most.

Above all, Xzavian was a family man. He took great pride in being a father and grandfather and deeply valued those he loved. His family was an important part of his life, and the love, laughter, and memories he shared with them will continue to be cherished.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald McGarity.

Xzavian departed this life on Saturday, August 29, 2026. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his fiancée, Glory Bishop, mother: Ta’Shun Greenwood (Ernest); four children, Amasha Sorrels, Javian Faulkner, Xzavian Thomas Jr., and Divine Grace Thomas; one grandson, Tafari Sorrels Wilson; and six siblings, Rashad Anton Dukes, Tim Smith, Lawrence (Victoria) Miles, Ariel (Tarrance) Parker, Alesha Girdy, and Donnell (Tiffany) McGarity.

He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends to cherish his memory. Though his life ended far too soon, Xzavian’s love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will live on through all who knew and loved him.
