WILLIE LEE KING, JR.
November 13, 1955 ~ January 28, 2020
Willie Lee King, Jr., (affectionally known as “Junior”) was born to Willie Lee Sr. and Gladys Marie King on November 13, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the oldest of four children born to this union.
Willie received his formal education in the San Antonio Independent School district, attending Cuney Elementary, Page Middle School and Brackenridge High School. He was a big sports fan and an exceptional athlete, playing on the school’s football and basketball teams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Quincy Lavell King of San Antonio, Texas and Deion King of Wichita, KS; two grandchildren, Yaniv and Justus King of San Antonio, TX; sister, Debbie King of Torrence, CA; two brothers, Michael King (Barbara) of Oklahoma City, Daryl King of San Antonio, Texas; two aunts, Georgia Thomas of San Antonio, TX and Nettie Hoston (Rudolph) of Cleveland, OH; and a host of other family members including nieces, nephews and cousins.
