RUTHIE MAE SHULER

On September 13,1930 Ruthie Mae Shuler was born to Bill Allen and Cordilia Hart Jones in Lockhart, Tx. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and attended Daniel Chapel U.M.C. Ruthie graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Lockhart, TX. After graduation, she attended Prarie View A&M University for a short while.

Ruthie met and fell in love with J.C. Shuler. They were married on November 24,1954. To this union, five children were born, Alfred Sr, James, Ural, Pearlie and Emma. After moving to San Antonio, Ruthie joined Church at Shiloh B/C where she faithfully served on the Usher Board. After her husbands passing, she moved her membership to Bright & Morning Star B/C.

On February 12, 2021 the Lord called Ruthie home to take her rest. She was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Shuler, her parents and four sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Alfred Sr. (Yvonne), James (Joni), Ural, Pearlie, Emma, one brother W.J. Jones, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
