Our beloved Johnnie White, a profound woman of compassion, quiet strength, and an unwavering heart, entered eternal rest on March 7, 2026, at the age of 91, in Pearland, Texas. She was born on June 20, 1934, in Kingsville, Texas, to the late Johnny Jones and Adell Ashford.

Johnnie was a loving mother and a devoted military wife. She married the love of her life, Dorris L. White, in 1955, and together they shared a beautiful union of 36 years.

She had a caring heart and dedicated her life to serving others as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the OB-GYN department at Santa Rosa Hospital.

Johnnie was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church and Zion Star Missionary Baptist Church. In her leisure time, Johnnie enjoyed sports, especially tennis, football, and track and field.

Her guidance, love, and attention to detail will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Floyd L. White (Terri); her grandchildren, Eric Roberts, Stephanie Roberts, Connie Roberts, Taylor White, and Jordan White; her brother, Horace Jones; her favorite niece, Dominique Malone; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
