Resided in:

Harold James Williams, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and dear friend, entered eternal rest on February 17, 2026, at the age of 93.
He was born on March 2, 1932, in Asheville, North Carolina, to Sarah Williams. At an early age, Harold developed a strong sense of duty and compassion for others—qualities that would define his life’s work and legacy.
Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he worked as a medic for over 20 years before retiring from military service. His dedication to caring for others did not end there. After retiring from the military, he continued his service-oriented career as a supervisor overseeing the First Aid Station at Turbine Chromality, where he faithfully served for 15 years.
He met and married the love of his life, Elizabeth Williams, and together they shared a beautiful union of 65 years until her passing in 2018. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, faith, and partnership.
A man of deep faith, Harold believed in God and was a devoted member of St. Stephen’s Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a long-standing Department of Army Veterans (D.A.V.) representative, dedicating many years to supporting fellow veterans and advocating on their behalf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: John Williams and Charles Metz, sister: Dorothy M. Oglesby, and his beloved wife, Elizabeth Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, James Manous (Elma); six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; his only brother, Richard Metz (Olivia); and a host of other close relatives and dear friends.
Harold had a generous spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved fishing and cherished the peaceful moments it brought him. More than anything, he valued time spent with family and friends, giving freely of his time, wisdom, and love.
Harold’s life was one of service, faith, and unwavering love for his family and community. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.

My Condolences for Your Entire Family Rest in Peace My Brother God Bless.
To the Williams Family,
I send my deepest condolences. I am so sorry, I am not there to share in Mr. Williams home going services, due to flight delays and cancellations. Mr. Williams was very instrumental and supportive in
watching over, and keeping tabs on my mom and dad, when they were going through their health issues. For that, I will forever be grateful.
I enjoyed talking and chatting with you Mr. Williams, when I would come home from time to time. Peace be with you.
God Bless you! 😔
Thank you for being such a strong and loving presence in my life. I will always cherish the beautiful memories you and Liz created for me growing up. You were truly part of my village — guiding me, loving me, and supporting me and my family in ways that meant more than words can express.
Your love, laughter, and strength will forever live in my heart and you will be forever missed. I am so grateful God blessed me with you as my godfather.
With love always.
