ESTHER WILLIAMS
September 8, 1938 ~ October 18, 2019
Esther Ruth Scranton Williams was born to Eleanor and Joseph Scranton, Sr. on September 8, 1938.
Esther graduated from Wheatley High School in San Antonio. After graduating, she also graduated from Barber College (Hays).
She was a devoted mother of four children. She spent her efforts and time with Missionaries with the Vision as well as Family Life Christian Church. She had a heart of gold with which she loved and cherished all.
Esther confessed her faith in Christ at an early age in life in which she continued to do God’s work within her community.
Esther was preceded in death by her mother and father, 9 sisters, 4 brothers 1 daughter, 1 great grandson and loving husband.
Left to cherish in her memory; 1 sister, Eleanor Owens, 2 sons, Bryson Ray Williams and Stefvon Bennett, 1 daughter, Dottie Sutherland, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews to whom she cherished and loved deeply.

I met Mama after I married her son Stefvon. She welcomed me into her family and showed me and my daughter Tiffany nothing but love. I loved visiting with her and talking to her weekly on the phone. I loved her and still miss her.
