DEBRA DENISE MCAFEE-STEWART

May 2, 1957 ~ December 27, 2024

Debra Denise McAfee Stewart was born to Julius Eme Afee and Aubrey N. Tyler on May 2 , 1957 in San Antonio , Texas . She was the second born of four . Many called her Debbie or just Deb . Debra accepted Christ at an early age . Her grandfather was a Preacher who help build East End Church of GOD E. Commerce , in San Antonio , Texas . Her family was also members of Greer Street Church of GOD where the two churches emerged . Debra attended SAISD schools and graduated from Sam Houston High School , at the age of 14. Debra was ahead of her class despite facing many obstacles , like being a mother at that age . That didn't stop Debra from continuing her education and attend St. Phillips College . By the age of 21 , she was the mother of 3. She later became the mother of 4 at the age of 33 . She later recieved her Repair Tech . License and became employed at Sears Roebuck Company . But throughout her life , She worked , many jobs as a CNA ( Caregiver ) and a housekeeper .   

But through those years ,Debra raised a whole village of Kids . She would help raise her nieces , nephews , sisters , brothers , cousins or anyone whom needed her . Debbie would make it happen . Everyone who knows Debbie ( Knows Debbie ) . Her heart was pure and filled with love . She would say " We Are Rich With Love " ! Debra enjoyed life . She lived her life as she wanted . Debra loved her family . She enjoyed her grandchildren and loved them so much . They love her as well . They nicknamed her Na Na . She would make sure everyone had a birthday cake on their birthdays . In March of 1994 she fell in love with Willie Stewart . She knew he would be her husband and he couldn't wait to make her his wife . On June 27 , 1997 they made it official . They were a union and two families became one . She enjoyed Spending time with her husband and family . Debbie loved everybody and everybody loved Debbie.Debra loved to watch her San Antonio Spurs play . She would put a Spurs Shirt on and get ready for the game . She loved to Sit on her porch , listen to her music and enjoy the outdoors . 

Debra was preceded in death by her parents Julius E. McAfee and Aubrey N. McAfee Sister Blanche Byrd , Brother Gregory McAfee . Nieces , Chandra Byrd and Bahaiti Byrd . In laws Clarence and Marquita Stewart . She leaves and Cherished husband Willie Stewart . Daughters Denisha Campbell , Daytoya Price Daubricea Lewis . Son Davett Price Daughter Granddaughter Shanisha Campbell . Grandchildren Ellis'Zhae Campbell , Davett McAfee , Edwawn Stevens , Dau' Monzhiaya Lewis Graves , Azamiere Baugh , JacQuill Ballard , Dae Zontay Sheppard , Detayveon Sheppard , Brooklyn Price , My 'Ka Hall , Julius McAfee II. Great grandchildren JaiShawn Sullivan , JaiYhonna Lovings , JaiZeonn Lee , JaMauri Holmes Oldest nephew Omar Byrd One brother Julius McAfee ( LaRK ) Two aunts Alice Bacon and Evelyn Saus and a host of family and friends

  1. Omg! I just received the notice of Debbie passing this morning! Debbie and I was not only neighbors, we were best friends aa children growing up. My heart is broken. She loved her some Jackson Five! We played jump rope, Jackson, skipping! Debbie was amazing. Im truly broken

  2. I met Debbie some years back and she was always a great person with a caring heart. I have had great fun with Debbie. We shared a granddaughter and I am pleased to be apart of the family. Sending love and prayers.
