On Friday, November 02, 2018, Cherie A Anders, Mother, Daughter and Sister, loved and cherished by a host of family and friends went home to be with her Heavenly Father.
Cherie begin her celebration of life on October 26, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, born to Joseph and Olive Lyde.
Cherie was a devoted Mother and daughter, upon relocating to San Antonio, Texas to care for her Mother, she united with Maranantha Bible Church, Pastor Rander E. Draper.
Cherie was an accomplished professional with "a gift of gab" that allowed her to be a stranger to none. She demonstrated leadership and academic excellence through out her life, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business on May 29, 2004 and a Master of Arts in Management on April 30, 2006, both received from University of Redlands, California. Cherie was a fun, gifted and talented Godly woman, forever young. Her favorites were hosting her evening "soiree" where family and friends were favored with her consummate cooking and baking skills, her specialty being German chocolate cake and becoming party to her love of Karaoke.
Cherie let her "little light shine", giving encouragement and departing wisdom all along the way with her very own style of flair.
Cherie will be forever remembered by her son, Cameron Stamps, her Mother, Olive Lyde, her brother and sister, John and Loretta Smith, her niece and nephew, Samone and Aaron Hogg, her Aunt, Barbara Bee and a host of precious cousins, extended family and dear friends.

My Dear Cherie, our brief time and memories together will forever resonate within my heart. Miss you my dear friend and Sister in Christ.
You will be missed greatly Ms. Cherie
I will miss our morning conversations at Starbucks. May you rest in Peace
A Nothing but Sunshine was ordered on November 8, 2018
Mornings at Starbucks won’t be the same without your cheerful smile and “good morning” wishes. You will be missed. Until we meet again.

My deepest sympathies to the family for your loss. Nothing can prepare us for the grief and pain of loosing a loved one. Psalms 34:18 tells us that “God is close to the broken-hearted “ May it comfort you to know God is eager to restore life to those who have fallen asleep in death and promises to do so by means of a resurrection (John 5:28,29)
May you always know how infectious your morning smile meant to me and other devoted customers.
Ms. Anders was an Angel here on Earth. It was a pleasure to meet her and watch her minister to a young lady that she mentored last year. She will be sorely missed.
To the Anders Family: May the God of all comfort give you peace and comfort at this most difficult time. Please read 2 Corinthians 1:2-4 and John 5:28,29 Where Jesus gives us a wonderful hope that is soon to be realized. That is the hope of the resurrection. What a blessing for your family and mine. If you would like to learn more about this wonderful hope please go to jw.org and download a free copy of the book “ What Can The Bible Teach Us ?†And read chapter 7†There Will Be A Resurrection†It is our hope that this information will help you and your family now and in the future
Ms. Anders was one of my teachers in high school, back in 2009. She had a great sense of humor and was so down to earth. I’ve thought of Ms. Anders throughout the years and decided to Google her and came across her obituary today (6 years after she passed). I’m so sad to hear that she passed away. I know she is with the Lord now. Thank you for being so kind Ms. Anders. RIP.
