Andrea Yvonne Burleson, affectionately known as “Andi,” entered eternal rest on June 9, 2026, at the age of 58.
Born on December 19, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas, to Benjamin Burleson and Bobbye Evans, Andi lived a life full of adventure, joy, and meaningful connections.
She graduated from high school in Dallas, Texas, and soon began her professional career. One of her most memorable roles was serving as a Customer Service Representative for Southwest Airlines, where she worked for ten years and developed lasting friendships while helping travelers from all walks of life.
Andi was a vibrant and outgoing spirit who never met a stranger. Her warm smile, infectious personality, and genuine love for people made everyone feel welcome in her presence. She had an undeniable passion for traveling and embraced every opportunity to explore the world around her. Her most recent adventure was a cruise to the Cayman Islands, a trip she thoroughly enjoyed. Andi did not simply exist—she truly lived. She made it her mission to experience life to the fullest, creating memories and touching lives wherever she went. Her favorite color was purple, a reflection of her vibrant and beautiful spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Bobbye Evans, and her grandparents, who welcomed her into Heaven with open arms.
Andi leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her loving children, De’Ondre Smith (Trishan) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Chandler Smith of Dallas, Texas; her father, Benjamin Burleson (Annette); her beloved grandchildren, Jasmyn Smith and Tristan Smith; her siblings, Brian Burleson (Sandra) and Courtni Burleson; her aunt, Vivian Burleson; her special friend, Undrea Randolph; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Andi’s journey continues in eternal peace. Her adventurous spirit, boundless love, and unforgettable presence will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
“To travel is to live.” Andi certainly lived—and lived well.
