Ana Laura Hernandez

Ana Laura Hernandez, a loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend, entered eternal rest on July 3, 2026, at the age of 55. Though her life was taken from her far too soon, the love, strength, and legacy she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Ana Laura was a woman of remarkable strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She dedicated more than 30 years of her life as a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist at North Central Baptist Hospital, where she compassionately cared for countless mothers and newborns. Her work was more than a profession—it was a calling, reflecting her generous spirit and servant’s heart.

A devoted member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ana Laura lived her life with faith, compassion, and love. Her family was the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater joy than gathering loved ones around her table. Cooking was her love language, and she delighted in preparing family favorites like pozole, menudo, enchiladas, and her beloved chocolate bread. Every meal she made was a gift of comfort, tradition, and love.

She found peace near the ocean and any body of water, places that reflected her free spirit and brought her happiness. She enjoyed journaling her thoughts, shopping for those she loved, and opening her home to family and friends. Her warmth, laughter, and generous hospitality created countless treasured memories that will live on for generations.

Of all the titles she held, the one she treasured most was “MoMo.” Her eight beloved grandchildren affectionately called her by that special name, and each one held a unique and irreplaceable place in her heart. She loved them fiercely and was immensely proud of the joy they brought into her life.

Ana Laura leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving daughters: Lizabeth Medina (Christopher), Alexandra Cavazos (Natalie), and Amanda Pickett (Sadorion); her beloved grandchildren, Johnathan Eli Gomez, Gregorio Medina, Ethan Hernandez, Gabriel Medina, Gustavo Medina, Jonah Cavazos, Roman Hernandez, and Amora Cavazos; along with numerous other loving relatives, dear friends, and coworkers whose lives were forever touched by her kindness, strength, and love.

She was welcomed into eternal life by her beloved parents and her cherished son, Johnathan Gomez.

Ana Laura’s life was a beautiful testament to hard work, unconditional love, enduring faith, and selfless devotion to others. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy will continue through the family she loved so deeply, the lives she helped bring into the world, and the countless hearts forever changed by knowing her.
