ELEANOR NOBLE

July 7, 1940 ~ August 29, 2022

Eleanor Louise Noble was the first child born to William and Dorothy Christian on July 7, 1940, in Denison, Texas.

Eleanor graduated from Terrell High School in Denison, Texas. After, graduation she attended Texas Southern University, in Houston, Texas. She later moved with her family to San Antonio, Texas.

Eleanor married in December 1963 and from this union she became the proud mother of four children, Anthony, Andrea, Michael (deceased) and Kimberly, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Eleanor worked for Bexar County in San Antonio, Texas and retired after twenty plus years of dedicated service.

Eleanor was a devoted member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she served in the Food and Clothing Ministry, the St. Paul United Methodist Choir, and served with the United Methodist Women where she received the Woman of the Year award.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Anthony Noble (Denise), Andrea Martin (Patrick), Kimberly Cooper (Joseph), four grandchildren, Mercedes Liss (Andrew), Kaila Thomlinson (Steven), Xavier Martin, and Jade Noble, four great-grandchildren, Avah, London, Liberty, and Lailah, two sisters, Gail Banks, Sheryl Randolph (Carl) and one brother, William Christian (Carol). She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Eleanor is proceeded in death by her son Michael Brent Noble, her parents, William and Dorothy Christian, her sister Brenda Harris and brother-in-law William Harris.
