Yolanda A. Watson was born September 13, 1955 to parents Elbert D White and Ella Louise Glass in Pinal, AZ. She is the Second youngest girl. Born to 13 siblings.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Sonny White, Walter White, Johnny White. And by her sister Ivory Goliday.

She is survived by siblings Nathanial White, Delbert White, Dwight “Blue” White, Sarah Harris, Scotty “Doc Bombay” White, and Dottie Richardson.

Yolanda graduated at 17 from San Bernardino H.S. In San Bernardino, CA where she met and married Tyrone Watson in the USAF. They remained married for 33 years before divorcing and remaining great friends until her death.

Yolanda has 3 children Demeshia M. Watson (2012), Tyrone Watson Jr (s. Gisela Watson), and Takaya Watson. And two adopted children Daquawn and Nana. She is survived by 8 of her nine grandchildren children. Alfie J. Green(2009), Taniya Woodard, Kobe J. Watson, Devyn Woodard (spouse Alexis Gonzalez Woodard), Miguel Ortiz (s. Delmi Trochez child Azula Ortiz), Keyshaun Ortiz. And one great granddaughter Azula Ortiz.

She had a deep and profound relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was ordained a Deaconess in home church of Greater Bethal Missionary Baptist Church led by her brother Bishop Nathanial C. White. 

She loved being a mother, friend and grandmother and great grandmother with all her heart. Seeing her children and grandchildren grow up and succeed was her greatest gift and seeing her first great granddaughter was priceless.

  1. First time I met aunt Yolanda , Latate and I were already married. I had just had Muffin she was three or four months maybe Aunt Yolanda moved to San Bernardino with a her children and her husband and she came down to my house which was on Evan’s st
    we talked for about 2or 3 hours just me and her and when we finish talking aunt Linda stood up and said you’re nothing like they said you were I like you and I loved her every since then, because she would never judge no one by what someone else said.
    My condolences to the whole entire family rest, easy aunt Yolanda.

  2. My Aunt Yolanda had a spirit of a warrior. She will always be the epitome of beauty and strength. She had a personality full of life and a smile that lights up any room. She most favored her mother(Ella)in spirit. If you know you know. Auntie you now have joined the Ancestors ,continue to watch over us and guide us as we finish our journey in this earthly realm. You were a giant to us here on earth and now your an Angel in heaven. We love you always and forever.
