His commitment and hard work were recognized with two special achievement awards, certificates of appreciation, and a plaque for his dedicated service. Willie was a devoted member of Coliseum Park Baptist Church for over 60 years. His service included roles as treasurer, deacon since 1953, chairman of the deacons, and instructor of the adult Sunday school class.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, his nine siblings, his beloved wife, Eulalia, his grandson Guidry Burse, and his great-grandson Devin Sanchez. God bless our family. I am the eldest niece of Uncle Willie Glenn King. I will miss him but I will treasure my memories. He was one of the sweetest person that I know. God called an angel home. RIP.
