VERA MAE MURDOCK

Vera Mae was born April 21, 1926, to Amos Myles and Argusta McLucas in Huffman, Oklahoma. She accepted Christ at an early age. She has been a faithful member of Coliseum Park Baptist Church since (1954) moving to San Antonio with her husband, Walter D. Murdock, Sr. In March 30,1951 was united in marriage to Walter D. Murdock, Sr. Vera retired from the San Antonio State Hospital after 20 years of service.

Vera and Walter, Sr Murdock welcome 7 kids Echford Myles, Walter Murdock Jr., Don Hinson Sr., Doretha Doxie, Charles Murdock and LaNell Griggs.

Vera is proceeded in death by husband Walter D. Murdock Sr, daughter Patricia, Son Echford, great-granddaughter Joyce Sisters and Brothers Rosemary, Mable, Kirlee, Buster, Isaiah, Palmer, William.

She leaves to cherish her memories Walter Jr., Don Hinson Sr., (Linda) Doretha Doxie, Charles Murdock (Trina), LaNell Murdock-Griggs (Anthony). 11 grandchildren Konya Gallien (Jules), Patricia Myles, Victor Myles, Monica Dominique (Maurice), Don Hinson Jr. (Lorami), Asad Murdock (Beth) Vincent Doxie (April), Charli Urrea (Adrian), Autumn Murdock (Byron), Catrina Murdock and LaTia Griggs. 20 great grand kids, 1 great-great grandchild. Sisters Marie, Earlene Denton, and niece/sister Trula Sheppard. Host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to Bonita Stovall and Irena.
