Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My condolences and prayers are with the family of Teddy Brown. It was joy to sit and talk with Mr. Brown he would share so much of his military journey, and his love for the Lord. I thank God for allowing Mr. Brown to pass through my life. Take your rest Mr. Brown, you will definitely be missed.

  2. I’m sad to know that I won’t see my dear cousin Teddy any more on this side of heaven. But I know he is in a better place. We had so many great childhood experiences. Because our grandmother was the center of the Brown family, we saw each other frequently. Nothing but great memories! The Brown cousins had lots of support and love for one another. Rest in Heaven, Teddy.

  3. Marcia, Ronald & Family,
With heartfelt sympathy, I am wishing you all peace and comfort in the midst of your sorrow.

  4. Dear Brown Family,
This has been a troubling and sad occasion for me, hearing of Teds passing. We were PV Frat & P/R Drill Team Brothers, and Roommates my Senior his Junior year 69-70.

I have such vivid memories of Ted, being so brilliant, articulate, well mannered, and a passionate ROTC Cadet Officer. It was my honor to relinquish my Cadet position of PV Cadet Brigade Commander to Ted in April 1970 in front of THE 2,900 CORPS OF CADETS. And, the highlight of our friendship was standing as his BEST MAN at his Wedding in San Antonio-Spring 1970.

My greatest joy was Reading of his life successes, full family life, and raising such an amazing Family and his Children, who will carry on Teds Family Legacy!!

My greatest shock and disappointment was that we didnt get the pleasure of staying in touch after I graduated and served 23 years on Active Duty, and thereby somehow tragically misinformed that he had passed while a Lieutenant in a SE Asia assignment.. For this, I am deeply saddened and sincerely apologize to the Brown Family for this tragic mistake!!

    Respectfully,

    Luther W. Berry,
Lieutenant Colonel (LTC), US Army, Retired
