STANLEY JEROME ELLISON

August 18, 1960 ~ July 29, 2024

Stanley Ellison was Born to the Union of Pervis and Mattie Ellison on August 18, 1960, in San Antonio, TX. He was the fifth born of 6 children. His Parents Pervis and Mattie; Sister Gwendolyn and brother Michael Ellison (Paula), preceded him in death.

Stanley Graduated from Highlands High School San Antonio, Tx in 1979. He then took Various Courses at Hallmark School of Aviation where he completed his Certificate in Aviation. He began his Career at D. Howard for a few years and then went on to Camp Stanley where he able to practice his skills he learned. Later, he landed a Career working with Boeing at the 433rd where he honed his skills in Aviation. Stanley also had a love for art and woodwork. He began making grandfather clocks for family and friends. Stanley crafted this passion for woodwork into various customs projects where he was able to build a thriving business. Referring to himself as an artist, he shared and taught this craft to anyone willing to learn. You can find many of Stanleys Creations throughout the city. Stanley later retired from Boeing in 2022, serving 30 years.

Stanley is survived by three sibling's sister Gloria Anderson; Two Brothers Pervis James and Keith (Katisha) Ellison: Three aunts Lola Marie Ellison, Ella Ray Williams, Maxine Young, Three Uncles: Ozell, Eddie and Laverne Ellison: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving neighbors and friends.

  1. Sorry for your loss, sending our condolences to family and friends. It was nice working with you Stanley from the old Dee Howard days to Boeing. Rest in heavenly peace.

  2. Stanley was a wonderful person. It was a privilege knowing him from childhood to adulthood growing up in church together. I will always remember his smile. Every time we saw each other it was just like yesterday.
    He had the biggest heart. My deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. 💕 You all. May God carry you all through this season and comfort you all.
