ROBERT ALEXANDER GARDNER

On Sunday, March 13, 2022, Robert Gardner, Son, father, and loving companion passed away at age 27 in Lewisville Texas.

Robert was born February 18, 1995 in San Francisco, California to Alexander and Cynthia (Dorn) Gardner.  Robert came to know the Lord at the young age of 6.  He had a passion for family, friends, and sports.  Coming up through the years he played baseball, football and ran track, but baseball was his passion. He graduated from Karen Wagner High School in 2013 and went on to study education at Cisco Junior College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant Ok, where he also excelled in sports and academics.

Along the way he met and befriended many people that would follow him through his life. His number one fan was his Grandmother Marie, he was her “Rah” and he would always say he could hear her yelling for him over everyone else.

Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Arcenia M. Dorn, maternal grandfather, Wayne Clarke, paternal grandfather Alexander Gardner Jr. Those who will forever cherish his memories are his father, Alexander Gardner III, Severn, MD, mother Cynthia (Dorn) Gardner, Converse, TX, loving companion, Brianna Gonzales, Lewisville, TX, daughter, Sevyn,  and son, Urban Gardner, Lewisville, TX,  half-sister, Alexandria Gardner and half-brother Alexander J. Gardner, Severn, MD, paternal grandmother, Sara Gardner, Orangeburg, SC, great aunts, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
