Rev. Brown was one of six chaplains I recruited to serve the men and women of the San Antonio Police Department, shortly after I as appointed Chief of Police in 1995. Throughout my tenure, he reflected Godly character and integrity. He was a rock during times of tragedy and triumph. For me personally, he was a friend who was always there for prayer, advice, and comfort. He will always have a special place in my heart and in the hearts of those who serve our community. His passing is a tremendous loss, but I am certain the Lord has big plans for this wonderful man.
My prayers are with his family……for peace and comfort over his loss.
