A Life Lived to the Fullest

Reginald “Reggie” Columbus was a kind and lively man who touched countless lives. A devoted son, he worked closely with his father to learn his trade and, in doing so, formed a powerful bond. He extended this love to his brothers, consistently showering them with thoughtful luxury gifts on every holiday, a testament to his generosity and affection. Reggie cared for his mother with immense love, especially through his own health challenges.

A true connoisseur of good times, Reggie was the life of every party, orchestrating family and holiday gatherings with his warm hospitality. He was a master of the kitchen, famous for his incredible chili, mexican cuisine, and barbecue, which he loved to share. Reggie also had a special gift for entertaining the younger generations, often playing video games with his nieces, nephews, and the children of family friends. He always added to his game collection to ensure everyone had a new adventure to share with Uncle Reggie.

A dedicated fan of the Spurs and Cowboys, his vibrant personality was matched by his impeccable styleโ€”always impeccably dressed for every occasion. Reggie will be remembered for his generosity, his love for friends and family, and the joy he brought to every occasion.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. May Reggie’s memory shine brightly and guide you all to peace and strength during this difficult time. Though he is gone from your sight, may Reggie’s love and spirit continue to fill your hearts and bring comfort to your family. May the light of Reggie’s memory never fade. Our thoughts and prayers are with my family as well as yours.

  2. To Donnie (Bubba) and my Sis Rosetta: you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so saddened to hear that Reggie had passed away, but know that he is at rest. God is in control and know that you are loved. Reggie had a good life and enjoyed every moment he could. May he rest in peace and may God bless you all. Love, Aunt Jean

    • Thank you so much, Aunt Jean. Your message was a true comfort to both me and Mom. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers, and it means so much to know you are with us during this time.

Your words about Reggie being at rest and God being in control truly brought us peace. You are right, he lived a good life and enjoyed every moment.

We love you, and thank you again for your kindness.

      Love,

      Donnie and Rosetta

  3. Sending my condolences to my Columbus family Reggie was one of a kind very open-hearted and welcoming and a protector as well you will be missed cousin Reggie love you

  4. He is in his forever home with the God of the living. He was surely greeted by his dad and big brother. The joy in heaven at his arrival. Iโ€™m thankful he isnโ€™t suffering but I am so thankful that his mom and Darryl still have each other in this time of grief. Your family has always been there as a beacon of joy and light on the street. Your family coming and going, cars parked all around the house let everyone on the street know your family was strong. I know you will lean on them right now. I remember Reggie when he was so tiny and would sit on the curb and talk. I was so excited to see his gorgeous girlfriend at one point. I knew he experienced love. Life happens. Will all go home one day. I pray we will still be neighbors in heaven and I will hear everyone laughing, eating, and playing in front of your house all over again. I love you guys so much. I will be praying for you all.
