Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will always admire Uncle Pervis for being a homeowner, Entrepreneur and black business owner,.  He was trusted and served his community for many years providing affordable prices for vehicle repairs.
I also have fond memories of spending many days at my Uncle and Aunts house.
At his service station he sold sodas,, chips candy and other snacks..  My Uncle basically owned a corner store..  Not such a good combination having the Station next door to the house..  😊  i can hear him now saying “Vern don’t let those kids drink all the sodas and eat all the chips”.  I am not sure how he made a profit on the chips and sodas..  We ( me, Gloria, Sandra and the rest of our siblings) asked for soda or chips so many times that he would finally give in and give them to us.
He addressed me as “Linda Leene”, a name that only he called me.  I will always remember his commitment to everything he took on and remember him with love.  ❤️
Family, I grieve with you.  Uncle Pervis will be truly missed.
