Percy Williams Jr, 73 years of age beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle entered into rest February 21, 2023, in San Antonio, Tx.
He was the oldest child born to the late Percy Sr. and Mary Alice (Cunningham)Williams on February 28, 1949, in St. Hedwig, Tx.
Percy and his wife, Barbara(deceased) accepted Christ at the same time at Hebron Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership and guidance of the late Rev. Charles J. Foster.
Percy graduated from East Central High School in June of 1967, where he was an Allstar athlete.
He enlisted in the US Army, where he served in support of the Vietnam War, and was Honorably Discharged in 1970.
He then furthered his education at St. Phillips College.
He was a loyal employee of the Baptist Memorial Hospital System for 5 years in November of 1972.
He later worked for Kelly Airforce Base until he retired after 28 years in September of 2000.
On December 27, 1970, he married the love of his life, of 39 years Barbara L. (Stevens) Williams; to this union two beautiful children were born. Rickey Branch Williams (deceased Shelia Williams) Angela Elizabeth Williams and Elston King (Tywana Bowens-King) 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Percy will be greatly missed.
Percy was preceded in victory by his father Percy Sr, sisters; Inolan Singleton, Rose Mary Williams, and Ada Mae Williams, and brother Herbert Williams.
Percy leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Mary Alice, Children

Brandi (Darren), Joseph, Aja, Loryn, Elston Jr, Elexander) 6 great grandchildren (Isaiah, Julien, Jaelyn, De'Arra, Cali and Cortez) brothers, Willie, Lloyd, Charles, Charlie,
Joe (Joyce), Laurence (Norencia) and Robert (Penney); sisters, Emma, Ricka, Brenda, Karen. A host of nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews, relatives, and friends.
