NANCY J. FRANKLIN

Nancy Jones Franklin was born in Stanton, Tx, on January 3, 1953, to Genard Jones, Sr. and Narvell Jones. She grew up in Midland, Tx and was baptized at an early age at Stanton Street Church of Christ. She graduated from Lee High school in Midland in 1971. She married Lindsey Franklin, Sr., on June 26, 1971, at Lee Street Church of Christ, and they relocated to San Antonio, Tx.

She worked for SAISD in the food service department as a Dietician. Nancy was also a combination welding welder, certified by Texas Engineering Extension Service.

Nancy was faithfully involved in ministry as a member of Coliseum Park Church of Christ. She taught Bible class and assisted in home Bible studies and in food prep ministry for different occasions.

Nancy went to eternal rest on December 28, 2024, peacefully at home with her husband by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Rober Earl Franklin and her siblings Genard Jones, Jr., Robert Jones, and Dora Jones Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Lindsey, Sr., son Lindsey, Jr. (Brandi), brother Carlton Jones (Linda), 3 grandchildren: Garielle, Madeline, and Giovanni; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
