Lois Lucille Pierson was born on May 24, 1954. Maybe? However she claims her actual birthday to be April 25, 1954. The mix up started with the Bebe’s kid factor. One of the bebe kids was responsible for the original birth certificate being burned up. Lois Lucille Pierson was born to Emma Green Pierson and Alfred Samson Pierson Sr. She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Henderson Pierson and half-sister Vivian Lenzy.
She went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2021. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She graduated from Southside High School, San Antonio, Texas in 1973. She began her undergraduate education at San Antonio College and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University. She joined the San Antonio Police Department upon graduation. One of her greatest pleasures was being an active member of Southside Baptist Church, where she served the Lord diligently until her illness prevented her from doing so.
She leaves to mourn her memory, two natural children and their spouses: Hermene Lynn Crenshaw Thompson / Larry Donnell Thompson (Pleasanton, Texas), and Harmony Joy Crenshaw Trevino / Eric Trevino (Elmendorf, Texas) and a host of children of the heart. Her cherished grandchildren will miss her dearly; Serena T’shon Carrington, Amiyah “Meme” Lynnell Thompson, Jocelyn “Jocy” Michelle Thompson, Alexander “Alex” Villarreal, Treshawn “Tre” Dominique Thompson, Trashanna “T.T” Monique Thompson, Kayla Cheri Hammons.
Lois is the second of eleven of the Pierson Flowers, who have been plucked from our loving garden. Nine of the eleven flowers remain to mourn her homegoing. They are: Alfred Samson Pierson Jr. (Medford, Oregon), Sylvia Ann Ward / Ron Ward (Mesquite, Tx.), Mary Ellen Pierson Mackey (San Antonio, Tx.), Nathaniel Lee Pierson (San Antonio, Tx.), Magnolia Hayes (Rosenberg, Tx.), Carolyn Marie Davis / Herbert Davis (San Antonio, Tx.), Dean Wesley Pierson/Naomi Pierson (Seguin, Tx.), Clenzie Wardell Pierson/Paula Pierson (Houston, Tx.), Jacquelyn Kennedy Thompson Davenport (San Antonio, Tx.), half- siblings Barbara Jean Grant (San Diego, Ca.) and Charles Dixon ( San Antonio, Tx.) along with a sister of the heart, Connie Simon (Seattle, Wa.). A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her beloved church family will join us in mourning her loss.

Lois as well as her entire family are/were well thought of in the Community. Even though she was younger than we are, we knew her from School and James grew up as a next door neighbor. She always greeted you with a hug and a smile. Truly a special person that loved the Lord. She is rejoicing with the Lord and loved ones that have reported to Heaven before her.

To the Family of Lois L. Pierson: I just found out about the passing of Lois. I would have been there for sure. Please accept my apologies and you all have my sincere condolences. Please tell the family that you all are in our prayers. Rest in Heaven Lois.
I just found out a few minutes ago .My condolences to the Pierson family.  Losing Lous is like losing a sister. All the Pierson girls and I were so close at one time, but lost touch as time passed. I never stopped loving you all.  Carolyn Nash montgomery
I was 11 years old in 1982 and Lois invited my parents to bring my brother and I out to her property along the San Antonio River in Elmendorf for a BBQ and bonfire. That was one of the most unforgettable experiences in my childhood. We explored the property and walked to the banks of the San Antonio River to watch it flow. I’m just learning of her passing. Since that visit we moved to Florida so that wonderful day 39 years ago was the last time I saw her (I’ve been back in San Antonio for the last 21 years). I’m the youngest step-son of the late Minister Lloyd Nash, Sr. I convey my belated condolences to Sister Carolyn and the rest of the Pierson Family.
