On February 16, 1965, Addie Elizabeth gave birth to a beautiful bubbly bundle of joy named Lisa LaJune. Atfter the death of her mother, she was raised by her grandparents, Mildred and Charles E. Young, who also preceded her in death.

It was known early on in her life that Lisa would have a “Great Passion for Life”.

She was baptized at an early age at the Wheatley Heights First Baptist Church and later joined East St. Paul UMC where she remained a member until her death.

Lisa attended school in the San Antonio ISD where she graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1983. She attended the University of Texas in Austin before going off to join the United States Navy in September 1985.

In 1992, she brought joy into the world in the form of a beautiful baby girl she name Jasmyne Shanyce. She loved this little girl so and eight years rater, she gave birth to another beautiful girl that she named Ayanna Sharne. Lisa loved her girls with all her heart and was very active in all that they were involved in. She was a proud mom that LOVED attending the dance activities when Jasmyne began with the Judson Galaxies and continued with Ayanna who is the current Colonel of the dance team.

She was always happy around her family and was always the LIFE of the PARTY!!!

As she crossed the finish line in her new formation, she was greeted with open arms by her mother, Addie Elizabeth, her grandparents, Mildred and Charles, Sr., her aunt, Jacqueline Parchman and a host of other relatives.

Guestbook

  1. With deepest sympathies we pray that God’s Kingdom come. That Government by God, will make the entire earth a Paradise, with no more sickness or death ( Revelation 21:4) by means of the earthly resurrection, we will be reunited with our loved ones. (John 5:28,29)

  2. Your leaving us took me by great surprise.  I will always remember your smiling face.   My condolences to your family and most importantly to your girls.   May you rest in heavenly peace.
