Lil, we will hold you in our hearts forever and all the good memories we shared at family reunions.
I pray for everyone to get through this difficult time.
Today we honor the life and legacy of your mother, Lillian C. Johnson—affectionately known as “Babyneed” and “Frank.” She was a woman rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. From the Mississippi Delta to Gary, Indiana, and later Texas, her life was a masterclass in grace, devotion, and showing up for the people she loved.
Your mother built a life anchored in love—54 years of marriage, a home filled with warmth, children and grandchildren who were her pride and joy, and a faith walk that never wavered. Whether serving her church, uplifting her community as a businesswoman, or simply listening with wisdom and care, she left every space better than she found it. That’s legacy work. No shortcuts. No applause needed.
Tracie, the way you love, lead, and nurture is a living continuation of who she was. Her spirit didn’t leave—it multiplied. It lives on in you, in your family, and in every life she touched.
May you feel her presence in quiet moments, her laughter in memories, and her strength when you need it most. Wishing you peace that holds you steady, love that surrounds you completely, and comfort that reminds you—you were raised by greatness.
Sending love, light, and deepest condolences.
Her work here was complete. Her impact is eternal. 🌿
May God continue to strengthen you and your family!
