  1. My dear friend, we may have only known each other for a couple of years but it seemed like a lifetime.
I will cherish our talks during our walks. You touched many people with your kindness . Our Lord definitely knew what He was doing when He made our paths cross.
I’m truly going to miss you.

  2. Karen, thank you for being such a kind person to many people, one of them being my daughter. Walking at the park will be very different without you but we will definitely keep your memory alive. Many blessings, until we meet again.

    Your friends, Linda and Deziree

  3. Karen. Brilliant Karen.  I only got to know Karen briefly at the Carver Library in our small but delightful Book Club.  I was so impressed with her vast knowledge and intelligence. She would send me e-mails about events at the Carver and elsewhere in the City. I am sorrowful that she is no longer with us, but grateful that I got to know her. She always spoke fondly of her Mother and would tell me about things going on in her neighborhood as I would tell her about mine. After our book meetings we couldn’t get out of the door for at least another 30-60 minutes still talking.  What  a Joy. Family, we mourn with you.  May your love and memories of Karen give you forever comfort.  May GOD give you His Peace.  Amen.

  4. I met Karen at the Schaefer Library Book Club. She was so sweet. We took time to visit afterwards. My granddaughters and I often ran into her at the little neighborhood Walmart and she would engage the girls in conversation. She will be missed by all who knew her. May your memories bring you some comfort.
