JON NATHAN JOHNSON

March 3, 1957 ~ June 5, 2020

Jon Nathan Johnson, Affectionately known as "Johnny", was born on March 3rd, 1957 to John and Elizebeth Johnson in Bremerton, WA. He was the oldest of his two sisters Darlene Armstrong and Beverly Garcia.

Johnny graduated from St. Gerard High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He attended the University of the Incarnate Word and got his bachelor's in science and worked as an X-ray tech and later as an Operating tech.

He married (Theresa) and they had two kids together, Joshua and Matthew.

Johnny was a perfectionist with great taste in music as well as a love for car collecting. He loved to travel and take great photos of family and loved ones. He could be stubborn at times but there was no doubt he inspired independence from everyone he was around. If something needed to be fixed he would try to teach himself first before asking for help. He was a smart man that never settled for ordinary. His wittiness, laughter, and love will forever be in our hearts.

Along with the many people you touched, Your passing will forever be missed by John, Elizebeth, Theresa, Joshua, Matthew Beverly, Darlene, Jennifer, Jessica, James, Kristopher, Joshawn, Dontre, Elora, Cipriani, Naomi, Matthew, Mariah, Riley, Kennedy, Carter, and Layla.

Rest in heaven until we see you again.

  2. hi uncle Johnny,
I miss you so much each and every day. i am going to miss your texts on my birthday, mother’s day, new years and Christmas. I am going to miss you popping up in Dallas and seeing you. I am going to miss your laughter and you saying “awe girl” to me and calling me Jessie. You were the only one who called me that outside of my mom…. I know God needed you more than we did, but i think about you all the time and i miss you dearly. your boys miss and love you so very much. i talk to you often and hope that you hear me. i love you for eternity. I thank God he allowed us to spend these 63 years with you. And for allowing my sister and I to say Goodbye without us even knowing that we were the ending of May. until we see each other again you are always thought of and will forever be loved. Your Jessie
