John Thomas Inman, affectionately known as “J.T.” or “Tom,” a loving father and good man, entered eternal rest on December 29, 2025, at the age of 71.

He was born on October 11, 1954, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to the late John S. Inman and Lola Protzman Inman.

John lived a full and adventurous life. He loved spending time at the gun range and enjoyed sports shooting, hunting, and camping. John proudly served in the U.S. Army and then in the U.S. Airforce prior to taking a strong interest in dog training. After his military service, He dedicated himself to training dogs for the military and law enforcement, a role he took great pride in. He later worked as a truck driver for many years until he could no longer work.

An avid traveler, John enjoyed road trips and made lasting memories by taking his children to visit iconic landmarks such as the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore. He also cherished skiing trips to the Alps and Colorado. At home, he loved action movies—especially those starring Steven Seagal—and listening to Black Sabbath.

John is survived by his loving children: Katie Inman (Ryan McKenery) and John “Jack” Inman (Mandee Stock). He is also survived by his sisters Judi Howe, Betsy Trosko, Kathy Shinal, and Marcia Inman; his step-sister Debbie Balz; his step-brothers Jeff Balz and Rick Balz; and numerous other close relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Bobbie Mae Inman.

John will be remembered for his strength, love for adventure, dedication to his family, and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
