Janice Harvey

Janice Harvey, born on August 4, 1961, in Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 63.

Janice was married for 43 years to the love of her life, Kennith E. Harvey. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on faith, love, and family, raising seven children who were the pride and joy of her heart.

A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and steadfast friend, Janice was known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering support for everyone around her. She had a generous spirit and a kind heart that touched many lives.

Janice dedicated 21 years of service as a Housekeeper with Marriott Hotels, where her work ethic and warm demeanor earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the lives she brightened, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Willie Evans.

She leaves to cherish in her memory, her beloved husband, Kennith E. Harvey, her children: LaCarl Birden, LaShanda White, Tonya Rangel (Nick), Kimberly Kahn (Nazar), Kevin Harvey, Emillion Harvey, and Josiah Johnson; 11 grandchildren, all of whom affectionately called her “Nanny,” 1 great-grandchild; as well as numerous other close relatives and friends.
