Guestbook

  1. Mama Jean was true to her name (Gracie meaning: favor, blessing). She taught me how to clean a house, cook a full meal, interior decorate, dress for success, fold diapers and a fitted bed sheets, cut a boiled egg in the palm of my hand (without getting cut), forgive, smile when everything is going wrong and to love unconditionally. In times past; she would graciously introduce me to others as, “Ronnie’s wife.” In present day; she would end our phone conversation with, “Tell Hubby thank you for taking care of my daughter. I love you both.”

  2. Gracie’s vibrant spirit and generous heart brought a unique luminescence to life, hosting the wedding of my dreams felt like the work of a creative guardian angel. A friend introduced us, but competitive card games and weekend gatherings were our shared love language. Her essence was an infectious blend – divinely thoughtful with gutsy courage, gently intelligent yet wildly kind. And throughout it all, her faith remained her guiding compass. Even in absence, Gracie’s light continues to illuminate.

  3. My most endearing memory of Gracie is when we first met. She took me to my first concert in Denver; we have been as thick as thieves ever since then. Gracie’s and my family became fused through happiness, grief, and lifetimes. We have cried, laughed, and withstood every event that life presented us, hand in hand, side by side. I will miss my dear friend.

  4. Gracie Jean is my sister from another mother. We raised our family together and have shared many family’s happiness, and pain together. She shared many recipes with me, my food never tasted as good as hers and she always let me know. My heart is very heavy, but I believe that my sister is in a better place and would say to me Lula “don’t grieve for me, try to be a big girl “. I LOVE YOU GRACIE JEAN CLAY, your sis, LULA CURRY
