Gloria Yvonne Hardeman, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old.
Born on February 4, 1943, in San Marcos, Texas, Gloria lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. She dedicated 32 years of her life to nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, providing compassionate care to countless patients and leaving a legacy of service and kindness.
Gloria was the proud and devoted mother of three daughters, the cherished grandmother of three grandsons, and the joyful great-grandmother of three great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she created a home filled with laughter, delicious meals, and unconditional love.
She had a zest for life and loved to travel, always seeking out new adventures. Whether trying her luck at the casino or preparing a home-cooked meal for loved ones, Gloria lived with passion and joy. Her favorite color, purple, reflected her vibrant and regal spirit.
Those who knew Gloria will remember her as loving, kind-hearted, and deeply devoted to the people she cared about. Her gentle presence and beautiful soul will be missed dearly but remembered always.
A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held with family and close friends to honor the remarkable woman she was.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and treasured memories.
Sis. GoGo, was or is a great person – who was kind to all she came across. On behalf of Chad, Kennedy, Tina, and myself we will miss her. (But will think of her often)
Go Go was a great nurse and a lovely person I was always known as her Mexican son from the valley. We had many fun times together and she will be missed prayers to her family
I spent countless weekends at Ms GoGo’s house with her youngest Angie. She made the BEST enchiladas and an amazing record collection. We had such good times in Barrington Oaks. I will forever cherish those memories in my heart. Thank you Ms GoGo’s and I love you all; Terry, To ya, and Angela
