Glenn Davis was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 27, 1958, at Research and Educational Hospital, the third son of the late Samuel L. Davis Sr. and Frances Twilley Davis. Growing up Glenn found joy in swimming and attending baseball and basketball games with his beloved mother, whom they affectionately called "ma dear," his brothers Sam Jr., Cedric (who preceded him in death), Michael, and Sean. The bond between Glenn and his brothers was unbreakable, and their time together was always filled with laughter and mischief. Despite being known as the initiator of mischief or trouble, Glenn cherished family gatherings and every moment spent with his loved ones. Glenn attended Caldwell Elementary and Bowen High School.
Glenn didn’t have to look far to find the love of his life Denise, who he met as a kid and married on June 21, 1993. In their life together they shared three daughters, Norieko, Charlena, and Chaneira. Whom they raised together in Marietta, Georgia before relocating to San Antonio, Tx. Although Glenn was known for his cool and laid-back demeanor, he was a devoted father who took his role as a provider and protector very seriously. He was the epitome of a "girl dad," showering his daughters with unconditional love and attention. Glenn worked tirelessly in various retail jobs to ensure his family had everything they needed until his passing on June 10, 2024, in San Antonio, TX.
Glenn will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Denise; his daughters Norieko (Roosevelt), Charlena, and Chaneira (Aj); grandchildren Jyier, Justice, Roosevelt Jr., Rodrique, Alena, Lizzie, Nathaniel, Kalani, Isabella, Harper, and Harmony; brothers Michael (Monica) and Sean (Melanie); brothers-in-law Henry Jr. (Angela), Dennis, Donald Sr. (Denise), and Robert; sisters-in-law Joyce, Delsue, Cynthia , and Michelle (James); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
