EVELYNJTOLIVERInterment
Interment

I had the pleasure of meeting her on Sept. 16, 2022. She welcomed me into her beautiful home and talked with me. She was truly a beautiful woman inside and out. Upon leaving her home, she welcomed me back. She was a Blessing! Will remember her and her beautiful smile and heart! Rest High In Peace and Love, Mrs. Evelyn Toliver! WELL DONE!!!
I will miss our long talks about our family & kids. I greatly appreciate all the advice you gave me.
Gone, but will never be forgotten!
Eric, Carla, and family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of our beloved cousin, by marriage, and your lovely and greatly admired mother We, and all who knew her, will miss her tremendously. We will always remember and cherish our years of growing up together, our school years, and serving in the military. Evelyn was our High School Classmate. We have cherished memories of our school days.
Upon moving to San Antonio, in 1973, we lived with Carl and Evelyn, until our house was ready. Their acts of kindness will always be in our hearts. Evelyn was God’s gift to all of us. We don’t like it, but we must give our loved ones back to God. And just as He first gave them to us and did not lose them in the giving, so we have not lost them in returning them to Him…for life is eternal, love is immortal. Death is only a horizon…and a horizon is nothing but the limit of our earthly sight. Most people view death as the end of life. We as Christians believe that Christ died for all people and conquered death for all. Thanks to his death and resurrection, our deaths, Evelyn’s death is nothing more than a sleep from which she will awaken totally refreshed and glorified to live eternally in the mansions, which the Bible tells us in John 14:2, Jesus went to prepare for us and will at some point and time call us home, to the place he prepared.
Evelyn’s illnesses, pain, and suffering no longer exist. She is now in the comfort of the Lord…
