  1. TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE ERNA JEAN BAKER:  A LIGHT HAS GONE OUT WITH THE LOSS OF ERNA; FOR SHE WAS ALSO SO FULL OF LIFE AND MOVING AND DOING FOR GOOD.  WE REMEMBER HER AT THE WHEATLEY REUNIONS AS THE BELL RINGER TO RECOGNIZE THE CLASSES.  SHE WAS THERE WITH OUR FAMILY WHEN HER BUDDY “BIG D” (DENVIL SAINE) PASSED.  THEY SHARED A SPECIAL BOND OF FRIENDSHIP, AND BECAUSE OF THEIR FRIENDSHIP, IT CARRIED OVER TO OUR FAMILY. FAMILY.  AGAIN, A LIGHT HAS GONE OUT WITH THE OOSS OF ERNA, BUT HER SPIRIT WILL ALWAYS BE SHINING BRIGHTLY IN ALL THE LIVES SHE TOUCHED.
WITH SINCERE SYMPATHY AND LOVE:  ELLA SAINE (DENVIL IN THE SHADOWS) AND FAMILY!

  2. Our lives crossed paths while members of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, in San Antonio,TX. Erna loved her family, life, and people from all walks and backgrounds. She touched many lives over the years with compassion and joy. She is surely missed. She earned her wings. Blessings to all the family. You’ve lost a Jewel.

  3.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  I will miss our conversations and the times we shared. It was a blessing to have Erna as a friend.
