I met Edward “Van” in High School (Go Owls). Although he was a couple of years ahead of me, he always looked out for me. To this day, he has been a friend I could depend on to always reach out and check on me.
I’m going to miss my friend calling to check up on me and seeing and waving to him during the MLK March in January. Thank you my friend for the smiles and laughter. Rest Well….Until Next Time.

Edward was such a good friend to me, I will miss him dearly, we have been friends since 1989, he has never lost me, ALWAYS calling to check in on me and even became the godfather to my daughter Dashunia, attended my wedding, her graduation, even sent her gifts during her 4yrs in college, he has been a long time friend of our family. He never forgets my birthday, I will never forget his, since it is 12 days apart. I cant believe he is gone. We miss him so much, he will always be with me because that’s how he is. Love, Respect and condolences to his family, my god shine his light on you.
