Life’s Journey
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me besides the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

My deepest condolences at the loss of Mr. Harris. Â May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Eddie was my Son’s Godfather. We pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. 45 years ago. A very dear friend and will forever be a part of my life. Rest In Peace Eddie!
My condolences to the family, no one can prepare us for the grief we experience when we lose a loved one, at 1 Peter 5:7 we are encouraged to “throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” Even though missed your loved one is not forgotten and God who is the life giver is eager to restore life to those who have fallen asleep in death and promises to do so by means of a ressurection. ( John 5:28,29)
We will always remember the joyous occasion as we celebrated our 60th class reunion in 2017. To have spent our early days as classmates and remain so close will remain in our hearts till the end of time and that’s a long long time!  RIP Hogjaw.Â
Prayers to the family. Think about the man he was. Follow the light and God will shine upon you.
Mr. Harris, you have been the inspiration of young and old alike. A man of character, morals, intellect and common decency. There are many good men in the world but you set the bar a bit higher with that smile and that dad like demeanor that motivated all who encountered and engaged you to aspire to be more. I really enjoyed the talks we used to have on the steps of the flower shop. You cared about people when you didn’t have to. Thank you for inspiring all of us young men that knew you become better fathers, husbands and friends. We shall pass on what we have learned from you.
