Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

Eboni DaVonne Carter, a loving daughter, devoted mother, and supportive sister, entered eternal rest on February 13, 2026, at the young age of 45.

Eboni was born on September 8, 1980, in San Antonio, Texas, to her parents, Dell Carter and David Savere. From an early age, she displayed a gracious spirit and a heart for others that would define her life. To know Eboni was to love her — or at times, to smile at her unwavering stubbornness. She poured encouragement into those she cared about and freely gave of her time, always putting others before herself.

A true caregiver at heart, Eboni faithfully served in the healthcare industry as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 15 years. Her compassion extended beyond her profession; it was simply who she was. She was a dedicated member of Hosack Avenue Baptist Church since the age of 18, where her faith continued to grow and guide her life.

Eboni found joy in singing and sharing daily scriptures with her family and close friends, uplifting them with God’s Word and gentle reminders of His love. Her favorite color was blue — a reflection of the calm, steady presence she brought into the lives of those around her.

Above all, Eboni cherished her four beautiful children, who were the absolute joy of her world and her greatest accomplishment. Her love for them was unconditional and unwavering.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her four beloved children: Aaliyah Lawson, Dale Davis, David Davis, and Darrell Middleton; her parents, David Savere and Dell Carter; her siblings, David Carter (Tandi), Marcus Carter, and Florence Carter; Sonja Blanchard, Mark Savere (DeAnna), Michael Savere (Adell), Kimberly Mabery (Jason), Dana Prince, Kyanusoke Carter, and Leonard Carter, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Eboni was greeted in Heaven by her beloved grandparents, who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Though her time here was far too short, her love, faith, and legacy of care will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
