Clay Herzing was born October 4,197 3 in Syracuse , New York to Robert Herzing and Beverly Stewart Herzing.
He is survived by his wife Lauren Herzing expectant mother of his child. Clay was also father to Heaven Herzing, uncle to Colton Herzing, uncle to Courtney Herzing-Medina and husband Juan Medina and great uncle to Penelope Medina.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Herzing and his brother Christopher Herzing.
Clay was someone full of life with the biggest heart . He wanted everyone to succeed and enjoy life. He tried many things in his short life. What he enjoyed most was boxing and stand up comedy . When it came to comedy , it was evident that he was finally doing what he truly enjoyed . He impacted many peoples lives and many people impacted his life. He would want everyone to stay strong and always remember the joys of life. He believed in the power of prayer and that one should always better oneself no matter what life brings.

Clay was a big teddy bear. There was no way you couldn’t love the guy. His imposing size was offset by his gentle demeanor and his great laugh. I worked with him in the tire business and found him to be an honest and hardworking man. Boxer, comedian, and very good friend. My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
