RIP, Chinee. You were a good man, a good cop. You had a bright shining spirit of friendliness and a great nature to serve the citizens of San Antonio. I worked with Chinee on East Dogwatch in the 80’s. He was always good natured and an easy person to be around and work with. I know he will be missed by many, but I’m looking forward to seeing him again one day when He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore.
I remember there were many times Chinee bailed me out of jams on the hill. Thank you Chinee for watching over a young patrolman that didn’t know better. You were a good patrolman and had a great way with the folks you served.
To the family of Chinee Edwards: I graduated from High School with Chinee and he was a fun person to be around and we will miss him dearly. RIH my brother. You guys have our sincerest condolences.
May God (JESUS) REST your soul and keep this sweet family in HIS arms

I enjoyed working with you and listening to your take on just about any subject. I still remember you barely making it in the front doors to be on time for rollcall. No more rushing for you, my friend. Rest in peace.
