On February 7, 2023 the Old Ship of Zion rolled in and with ticket in hand, C W stepped aboard bound for the Promise Land.
On November 28, 1939 a baby boy, C W White was born to the late Reuben Lee White and Azel Elosie McFarland. C W was the oldest son of 5 boys and 6 girls.
C W attended school in Maud, Texas, he united with the Temple of Truth (COGIC), Lancaster, Texas at an early age, his final church attendance was with St. Johns IME church.
C W worked as a Laborer for Case Construction Co and later transferred to work at Frank Ramirez Construction Co until his health began to fail, forcing him into retirement; he also worked in auto mechanics, landscaping and battery productions.
C W was united in holy matrimony to Rena M. Payne, March 4, 1976, to this union C W became the father to Kathleen Payne and in 1980 he fathered a son, Charles Walter White. C W remained in this union 47 years in which he remained until death as vowed.
C W was proceeded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Dennis White Sr., Joe Thaniel White Sr. And George Earl White, 4 sisters, Ruby Mae Wallick, Irma Neal White, Bettye A. Fisher and Nettie D. Clark (Tootsie) and son Walter Favors.
He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sisters Arzel Marie McKenzie, Warner-Robins, Georgia and Darnell Louise York (Romeo) Arlington, Texas and one brother, Lorenzo Jerome White (Rita) Lancaster, Texas, 2 daughters, Yvette Favors-Hubbard (Carl) Plano, Texas and Kathleen Clinkscales-Stelly (Troy) Beaumont, Texas and one son, Charles Walter White, San Antonio, Texas 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

First and foremost, my condolences to the family of Mr. White. He was such a wonderful person. I worked side-by-side with him with Ramirez construction and he was just an awesome man. Awesome person and very well love by all our family he will be deeply missed we work together on many out of town jobs. We broke bread together many many times we ate on the tailgate of a truck and loved. You are such a wonderful man I will deeply miss as a person and a great coworker. My son worked with Mr. White many many times, and my grandson got to meet Mr. White, and said what a wonderful person he was to get along with everybody the way he did
Our condolences to the family. Mr. White was a great person and a great coworker. We worked side by side on many projects and he was a great worker. We did some projects out on town and was also pleasant to work with. We broke bread together many times and shared stories and a good laugh. He also worked along side by side with my son and did meet my grandson and they had some laughs together. He will be greatly missed.
