Born in: San Antonio, TX
Resided in: San Antonio, TX

On June 21, 1958, Bernard A. Willis, Sr. and Lucy Naomi Willis, gave birth to their third son, Eddie Louis Willis. He excepted Christ at an early age and was Baptized at Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age. He joined New Testament MBC and served as an usher for 26 years and was more than willing to work wherever the church had a need without hesitation.

Eddie attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School , James Whitcomb Riley Middle School , and graduated from Sam Houston High School here in San Antonio, Texas.

After graduating from high school, Eddie began working for Central Glass Company. Although Eddie never married and did not have any biological children of his own, he devoted much of his life to helping raise his younger siblings, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

The love, care, patience, and guidance Eddie showed while watching over and caring for our children were a beautiful testimony to the kind of man he was. His willingness to be there for them, to nurture them, and to help guide them was evidence that Eddie would have made an outstanding father. His love for family was genuine, and the impact he had on the lives of those he cared for will not be forgotten.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Lucy Naomi Willis, brother Raymond Willis, grandparents, Reddie and Bessie Willis, Elmo and Viola Henderson, and a woman who helped raise him and played a huge role in his upbring his great-aunt, Lillian Kemp. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers, Ray Curtis Coleman, Bernard A. Willis, Jr., Wayne Willis (Mary Benson), Vernard McNally, Pressur McNally. Sisters, Herleen Pickrom, Brandy Johnson, Beverly Willis, Iola Willis, Ilona Willis, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
