Pamela Marie Roundtree was born on April 15, 1970, to Mr. Robert L. Fennell, Sr. and Katherine J. Roundtree. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warm spirit and caring heart touched the lives of many.

Pamela received her education in the San Antonio area, attending Alamo Junior High School before continuing her studies at Alamo Heights High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1988. Determined to pursue her passion for beauty and helping others feel their best, she later attended cosmetology school and earned her license as a professional hairstylist.

For more than 30 years, Pamela dedicated herself to her career at Fantastic Sam’s, where she built lasting relationships with coworkers and clients alike. Her talent, professionalism, and friendly personality made her a valued member of the salon family and a trusted stylist to countless customers throughout the years.

Pamela departed this life on May 29, 2026, at her home. Though her earthly journey has ended, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her brothers, Leonard (Anita) Roundtree, Alvin L. Roundtree, Robert Fennell, Jr., Robert Fennell III, and Dexter Walker; her sisters, Tamara (Darrell) Fennell-France and Alisa Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Pamela’s kindness, dedication, and loving spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

To the family of Pam just reiterated what a beautiful person she was outside and more inside the sweet side of her, making cookies and bringing them down to the club and just how she took time to remind you how cool she is she would wrap your cookies individually and hand them to you at her little bag that she made And you could just taste us since as I speak this come to my eyes we just danced on our birthday she did a hello move. She will always be remembered in my mind in my heart. I still find it hard to believe at this time. I know she’s up there with some great people you are Missed

  14. Like my sister I will be missing her. We worked over 20 years together. She’s a great team player, loving and caring. She had a good relationship with every single client. I remember every time I would misplace something at work she would always find it. That’s how she was, open to help. Everytime we would think about how long we’ve worked at fantastic Sam’s we would joke about how we would be cutting hair on a walker. On our new years company party she was the best dressed that’s how I will always remember her. Sister Maria Newton will always love you.

I met Pam through Tammy and when I saw her my eyes locked in on her hair, I said to myself “that’s a bad hairstyle, I want my hair like that.” Not to mention “A Fashionista,” every time I saw Pam (in Austin or in San Antonio) she was dressed.
