Mr. James Lee Garcia was born to the parentage of Mrs. Cora McKinney-Redd and his stepfather, Pleasanton Redd.
He attended Rosenwall School in Luling, Texas, and later attended Saint Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. James Lee Garcia was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked in Civil Service at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio until he retired. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended church in Seguin, Texas, with his parents. He was a man of faith even from a young age. He enjoyed fishing whenever possible and bowling, and he won many trophies doing so.
He will be remembered by those who loved him as a loving and kind person whose smile would warm any room. The great memories he left behind will be cherished. He will be missed,but never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Redd.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Beverly Garcia; three sons, James Anthony Garcia (Adrian), and Robert Garcia (Jessica); Curtis Wilson; and one daughter, Valencia Lynn Garcia. He also leaves to cherish his memory eight grandchildren: Jasmine Garcia, Marcus Garcia, Steven Garcia, Sabrina Garcia Richardson (Marcus), Andreaus Garcia, Aaliyyah Garcia, and his youngest grandson, Arceus Levi Garcia; five great-grandchildren: Jaden Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Jada Garcia, Joc Garcia, and Jocelyn Garcia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
