Tinike Lonique Gantt was born April 16, 1987 in Columbia, SC to Claudia Lenoir and Gordon Gantt, Sr. Nikki, as she was affectionally called, was the oldest of 5 siblings whom she adored. Her brother Gordon preceded her in death.
Nikki received her education in San Antonio, TX, having graduated from Robert G. Cole High School. Nikki completed her Cosmetology certification at Milan Institute, and attended the University of Phoenix.
Nikki entered the workforce where she was a Dental Care Team Manager for United Healthcare East. Nikki quickly rose up the ranks of the corporate ladder, as she truly loved her work. She was committed to excellence and creating a comfortable environment for those she worked with.
Nikki was an amazing mother to her children: Amyiah, Courtney (CJ), and Chance, and her bonus son, Kayson. Whether it was an academic activity, basketball game, or football scrimmage—Nikki was in attendance. The “Top Team Mom” was there rain or shine, and in sickness and health. Nikki supported her children in any and every way.
Nikki is preceded in death by her beloved brother; her grandfather Willie King, Sr.; her uncle Wendell King; and her cousin Terenzio Robinson.
Nikki is survived by her children: Amyiah, Courtney Jr. (CJ), and Chance; her mother and dad: Claudia and Jacques Lenoir; her father: Gordon Gantt, Sr; her siblings: Monica Williams, Almetta Douglas, Alisha Barker, and Ja’Niah Lenoir; her grandmothers Elizabeth King and Martha Gantt-Ray; her grandma and grandpa Minnie and Jessie Fair; nieces Anari Griggs and Nora Hardy; nephew Bri’Yon Givens; special cousin Patrice Rembert; her best friend Misty Falk; and a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Nikki. She was a beautiful soul, and her life touched more people than words can express. Please know that you are in our prayers during this painful time.
