TASHONA LATRICE JOHNSON

June 26, 1987 ~ March 27, 2025

With hearts tender from loss yet uplifted by gratitude for her vibrant life, we announce the passing of Tashona Latrice Johnson, who departed this world on March 27, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the young age of 37.

Tashona was a free spirit—wild, vibrant, and unapologetically herself. She was the kind of woman who lit up every room she walked into. Known as the life of the party, Tashona brought joy, laughter, and energy wherever she went. She had a big heart and an open door, especially for people others might have overlooked. She had a soft spot for those who had lost their way and often welcomed them into her home without hesitation. That was just who she was—real, raw, and full of love.

Tashona leaves behind her three beloved children Amadeus “Maudy” Judson, Terale “TJ” Williams, and DeAnte “DoDo” Walker; her precious grandson, Ja’mir Judson, whom she loved dearly and doted on constantly as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is survived by her mother, Ruthie Johnson, John “Popps” Stevens; her “momma” Florence “Ms. JoAnn” Judson and Brother Greg Judson, her Uncle Kent; seven brothers, (1) Eric Brown, (2) Nathaniel “Poopie” Robinson (Ebony), (3) Nathaniel “Poochie” Johnson (Olympia), (4) Jermaine “Mannie” Johnson (Hidiyah), (5) Michael Redden, (6) Jasean Williams, and (7) Jalen Coleman; two sisters, (1) Teresa “Reese” Evans (Edward), and (2) Briana Grey as well as extended family like best friends Tamara Davis and Rikisha Townsel who mourn her deeply. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Billy” Johnson, whose memory she always carried in her heart.

Tashona’s light burned bright and fast. Though her time here was short, the memories and love she gave to others will remain eternal. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
