Former Dorie Miller Elementary teacher and very good friend to the Late Ms. Ruth Burns who was my Elementary Teacher. They rode together to school. Ms. Woods was tall and Ms. Burns was short. They were always sharp and you gave them respect because they did not play with students. For some reasons they knew your family and your family knew them.. Precious memories .
A very sweet lady, Mrs. Woods (and Rev. Prenza) who would always ensure they called my dad (Joe Sledge) to do any handyman-type of work they needed done in their home. May she rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Woods was my school teacher as I was growing up and she made a wonderful impact on my life. I will forever remember her. Prayers will be lifted for her family and those who were blessed to know her.
There was never a kinder, more loving and caring individual. Her demeanor was that of someone who considered each & every person and worked w/ them to enhance his or her life, to the best of her ability. She appreciated the interactions of family & friends.
A devoted, loving wife to Rev. Premza; a loving, understanding mother to Beverly. It was a pleasure to have known her, she will be missed immensely. She was a blessing to our lives – and she had a wonderful life.
