WILLIAM H WALKER

June 21, 1961 ~ August 31, 2024

William Horace "Bubba Louie" Walker III was born June 21, 1961, he was the second child born to Gloria and William Horace Walker Jr.

He attended SAISD school district where he graduated from Fox Tech where he was a well-known athlete. He excelled in Baseball and Basketball. But Baseball was his passion. He also played baseball with various city teams such as The Shakers, The White Socks, The Blues Brothers, and The Pirates. He also earned his brown belt in Karate, and he was an all-around athlete.

Bubba had a love for his family like none other and was loved dearly by all of his aunts and uncles.

As a young child he attended Mount Sinai Baptist Church alongside his grandmother Bessie King under the leadership of the late Pastor Rufus Wilson. He later accepted Christ at Hosack Ave Baptist Church where he was baptized by Rev Ernest Roberts. Bubba participated in various youth programs. He recently rededicated his life to Christ at True Light Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Ronson Hall. He faithfully attended until he was no longer able.

Bubba was a dedicated worker at the Fort Sam Dining Hall for more than a decade where he was known and loved. He was also a member of the Masons St John Lodge #27 and Joshua House Lodge #11.

Bubba will be meeting in heaven, his parents Gloria and William Jr., Brother Rico Lewis, his nephew Carlos "Lil C" and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bubba will leave to cherish his memory his kids Son William Walker IV, Daughters Lakendra Walker, Chastin (Howard) Steen, Sister Debra (Carlos) Dancy, Bernetta (Melvin) White, Akea Johnson, God Sister Martha Grant. Bubba will also leave to cherish his memory his Grandkids ZaKhari, Amhari, Amhashe, Shaniyah, Bella, Blake and Shawn.

His nieces and nephews Eureka Adams, Emosha (His Favorite) Williams, Tiffany Mckay, Windell Dancy, Aaron Dancy, Michael Evans and Alta Kemper.

His boys Willie, Carl, Bo Fly, Sweet Pea, Pookie, Baby Brother, Tony, Tom Boy, Ruben, Michael Philips, Billie Fuller and many others that he loved dearly too many to count.

And a host of family and friends.
