FAYE LOTT

Faye Kathryn Middleton Lott was born July 14th, 1947 to Alley Faye “Bigmama” Middleton and Rashaw Middleton in San Antonio, TX. Faye was the second born child of 10 children. She accepted Christ at an early age, while attending St. Luke Baptist Church. Faye raised six beautiful children Cynthia, Dennis, David, Darell, Bryant and Charles. She later met and married the love of her life Larry Lott. Together, they created a solid foundation and a beautiful example of love for their family during their thirty-nine years of marriage.

Faye received her formal education at Booker T. Washington Elementary School, Emerson Middle School and Wheatley High School. After graduating high school, she continued her education at St. Phillips College for her L.V.N, then pursued her career at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital where she specialized in Labor and Delivery. When she wasn’t assisting in delivering babies she stood in the operating room as a Surgical Technician.

After forty-two years as an outstanding Labor and Delivery Nurse, Faye decided it was time to retire. Once retired, she spent time fulfilling her duties of serving Christ as an Usher first at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Faye later served under the direction Pastor John D. Kyle at New Dimensions Ministries where she remained a pillar in the church community as the Head of the Usher Board, First Impressions Ministry, and Hospitality Ministry.

Family was everything to her, with her favorite past time loving on her kids and grandkids, She took time to travel, with her favorite memory being visiting the monuments of the Promised Land. She spent her hobbies enjoying family time through out the holidays and decorating her home with beautiful decor filled with LOVE. She actively was involved in the MLK march for over 10 years and actively participated in the Susan G. Komen cancer walks honoring her late sister Judy Mitchell.
