EUNICE CELESTINE SHELTON

Eunice Celestine White Shelton was born in Cameron, TX, daughter of Edward, Sr. and Lillian W. White. She was the oldest born into the family and later had two sons.

She was a graduate of St. Phillips Nursing School. She worked at several hospitals in the San Antonio area, even the State hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Edward and James White, and husband Lonnie Shelton, Jr.

She is survived by her children: Dannie and Velyian Woods and Lonnie Shelton, III; Sister-in-laws: Barbara White and Evelyn Shelton; grandchildren: Felicia Woods, Dannie and Marchie Woods; great-grandchildren: DeSean and Shirleyah Hernandez, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
